Why do ceremonies?

Our culture already practices ceremony and ritual in the form of birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, graduations, and funerals to name a few.  We do this to mark and honor an event that is meaningful to us. Ceremonies for Sacred Living enables you to refresh your existing traditions, along with assisting you to honor those transitions for which our culture does not yet have a form. 

 Ritual and ceremony help us to bring the Sacred into everyday living, as we take time to connect with Spirit.  Through ritual we honor and initiate changes in our lives.  We can realize our place in the web of life, receive assistance, be heard, be healed and be empowered.  Ritual can bring clarity and focus into a chaotic time. For families and other groups, ceremonies can have a deeply unifying effect, creating common ground upon which to build the future.  Ritual can enable children to have a real life tool to use in their lives as they grow.  Ritual can enable you to reclaim traditions that have gone “flat,” or establish a new tradition altogether.  Together, our imaginations are unlimited!

What we offer

It is our intention to bring meaningful ritual into all of life’s transitional moments, honoring the celebrations and challenges of the individual, community, family and Spirit. We provide a starting point in the form of “templates” for the type of ritual to be created, and then customize the ritual with you. You are an equal partner in this creation; we provide experience and support for your ritual dream and vision. No matter what your particular religious or spiritual beliefs, we can help you to incorporate them into your ceremony to the depth you choose. Use our space at The StarHouse or your Sacred space, wherever that may be.

Ceremonies begin at $150 for a 90 minute ceremony --this includes 1-10 participants with one Ceremonialist . Please e-mail us so we may tailor a quote for you that meets your ceremonial needs.
