Who was Mary Magdalene? Prostitute? Priestess and seer? Founder of the mystical gnostic traditions in Southern France? Inspiration for the troubadours, the great composers of love songs in the 12th century and beyond?

After extensive research in Israel and France, the playwrights have created a powerful drama of Magdalene, as accessed through the inner life of a confused young woman during the war years of Vietnam.

With award-winning musicians (Jesse Manno and Beth Quist), world-traveled choreographer (Sharron Rose), and the wonderful Australian actress, Johana Lambert. Directed by Heidi Robbins from Seattle and Ashland, Oregon (directed Remembrance: Reviving the Sacred Marriage in 1999 at Nomad Theatre).
