Become a StarHouse Member in 2011-2012

We welcome you to another wonderful season of Community and Ceremony at The StarHouse. Please become a new or returning member to All Seasons Chalice, the non-profit organization that provides sacred ground. Let’s join together to sustain The StarHouse and co-create an even stronger community!

As an ASC Member you may enjoy Free admission to Core Events: Solstices, Equinoxes, New Moons, Full Moons, and Community Gatherings and Meditation Circles, one guest pass to an ASC event, Access to Sacred Sites for personal meditation and ritual (when available).  The Star membership adds the opportunity to select and take home a Yule tree from The StarHouse land, a discounted rate for private ceremonies within TheStarHouse (when available), and a discounted rate for Retreat Cabin rentals. To sign up for a 2011 Membership:

All membership contributions are 100% tax-deductible and support all the wonderful programs you have come to depend on. In addition, many of our members are not aware ASC supports good works in the wider world through our Community Service Funds such as Women of Vision (Palestinian and Israeli women working for peace), Kisiizi Malaria Fund and AIDS in Africa Fund.

January Event Details

NEW YEAR'S DANCES OF UNIVERSAL PEACE. Saturday December 31, 7:15 pm. Ring in the new year in sacred fashion as we co-create a threshold of appreciation for blessings past and future. The evening will flow between sets of the Dances of Universal Peace, community ritual, brief meditations and shared inspirations. Ceremonialist and dance facilitator Timothy Dobson will be joined by guest musicians to build a soundscape that carries our caravan into 2012 with a hope and excitement for the travels ahead. "Pillars of the Community" — A call for subscribers to the Deeper Dances at The Starhouse for 2012. Please help secure the monthly dance on the second Saturday at The Starhouse for another year by paying for the year of dances in advance. Two supporters per pillar (2x12) will keep this beautiful roof over our dances for another year. Subscriptions $120 for the year, including Christmas night 2012. A $24 savings over drop-in costs. EMBODYING OUR INTENTIONS WITH MELISSA MICHAELS, MARK GERZON AND FRIENDS. Sunday January 1, 2012, 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Join us on our New Year’s Day Journey, breathing into the new year with our bodies, hearts, and souls wide open. Back up in case of heavy snow: Kelly’s Barn ~ 1360 Sumac Ave. Fee:$45. STARHOUSE KIRTAN WITH SCOTT MEDINA AND FRIENDS. Saturday January 28, 7:30 pm. The darkness of the winter invites us to deepen into the mystery of mantra. Come join us for a magical winter's eve of ecstatic chant, dance and meditation! Led by Scott Medina on acoustic 12-string guitar and harmonium, with hypnotic grooves provided by Steve Bross, Shanti Medina and Gayan Long, with Eyal Rivlin on bass and acoustic guitar. These evenings together are truly blissful and transformative! $15 at the door, or $12 in advance by sending a check payable to "Scott Medina", 765 Gilpin Drive, Boulder, CO 80303. Namaste.

THE MYSTICAL READERS’ CIRCLE with Anastacia Nutt, Winterim 2012. If you love the idea of a good winter’s tuck-in, and have a passion for all things magical, then The Mystical Readers’ Circle may be just the ticket for you. Inspired by my love of magical study and the slower pace of winter, I am offering a monthly reader’s forum. Here we will explore the foundations of magical literature as well as share ideas, meditations and simple rituals to keep our mystical fires stoked throughout the long winter’s nights. The MRC focus this season will be Mystical Moon: Friends, Fancies and Faeries, offering one title within each magical genre. Friends: Dion Fortune and the Three Fold Way by Gareth Knight; Fancies: The Demon Lover by Dion Fortune; Faeries: The Living World of Faery by RJ Stewart.

Cost:$40 for the 4-part series (not including books) payable through Paypal or by check. For each title you will receive: three key discussion questions to guide your reading and our group sharing, “behind-the-book” teachings, a meditation and a simple ritual to enhance your experience of the book. Monthly meetings will be hosted through GoToMeeting® (web-based conference system.) You may join each meeting via your phone or computer (with headset.)

Meeting dates are designed keep pulse with the Mystical Moon’s Full Phase: Monday January 9th, Tuesday February 7th, Thursday March 8th, Thursday April 5th. You will need to initiate this process each time you make an installment. Alternatively, you can give your credit card information to ASC along with your permission that quarterly deductions be taken toward your annual membership donation. These contributions are 100% tax deductible.
