The stars speak to human beings, through the events of their lives, taking direction from the major event of birth. Can we learn the language of the heavens? Can we learn star wisdom? Can we meet the “new astrology emerging,” a star wisdom rising out of Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy and suggestions?
New Astrology Emerging (NAE) —Training for Practitioners
(in 4 parts and 40 modules)
Leading to certification in this approach based on anthroposophy.
Many of the courses available at TheStarHouse.org are for learning and enjoyment. This course seeks to take you on the path of becoming a practitioner—to learn to engage with the star-kiss that came to you personally (at birth and throughout your life)—and eventually learning to help other people. There is more work involved to learn a new language, and we take it step by step.
The best way to learn to be a practitioner is to work on your own birth chart!
This course has four parts, each purchased separately. The content totals 34.7 hours, with other videos available, as well as documentation that become tools in your tool box.
Part A Introduction to New Astrology Emerging
Introduction: In Part 1, many resources are named and made available, with a guide to when you might need them, and recommendations on how not to be overwhelmed. This is the grounding in an astrology inspired by anthroposophy. The philosopher Rudolf Steiner called for a “new astrology”—and we would like to help you become a practitioner of the wisdom of the stars in relation to your life and eventually as a helper to other people.
Part B The Four Levels of New Astrology Emerging
To begin, we send you your birth chart, for you to personalize using the techniques that we explain in Part B. Print that out in several copies so you can work on it from different points of view.
We give the most important tools in four “levels,” with examples. Many of the tools are unique to this approach to astrology, inspired by anthroposophy (Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy and specific indications). These are working sessions, so set time aside to go through these experiences not only conceptually, but physically as well, as your body is a treasure chest of memory for tools and events in your life and in the world.
Prerequisite: Part A of NAE
Part C Biography and Transits
In Part C, you learn how to apply the tool box you’ve received earlier to the biographies of two people, in detail. As human beings are complicated and wonderful, it takes time to unravel the influences that they undergo, and to which they respond. Prior to taking on the recent transits to your own birth chart, witness how the lives of two others have been shaped by stars (and the wandering stars, namely the planets). Then apply to your own life. For this part, we send you transits around the time you began Part C.
Prerequisite: Parts A and B of NAE
Part D Extension, integration of levels, transits, and more
In Part 4, what we’ve learned is reviewed and extended into other areas—some thoroughly and some to interest you in further explorations.
At the end, there is a wrap-up, a summary of procedure. This is essential to cap off the build-up of the previous parts.
Prerequisite: Parts A, B, and C of NAE
Part E Certificate in NAE—Practitioner Training
To enhance your exploration of New Astrology Emerging, we provide an optional certification process that validates your understanding of the principles and techniques associated with this progressive astrological approach. Through an interview, we will assess your proficiency in New Astrology, and upon successful completion, you will be awarded a certificate recognizing your mastery. The certificate will proudly state: "(Your Name) has demonstrated mastery in the techniques of New Astrology Emerging, a star wisdom inspired by anthroposophy."
Our approach
Our approach to astrology is deeply rooted in the teachings of Rudolf Steiner and has been further developed by a dedicated group of astrosophers over several decades. We draw inspiration from the profound insights found scattered throughout Steiner's extensive collection of six thousand lectures. Our aim is to cultivate a comprehensive and enlightened understanding of astrology by incorporating the following principles:
Sidereal (star-based) perspective: We emphasize the active and dynamic role of the celestial beings operating from stars and constellations. This viewpoint allows us to delve into a more profound engagement with the heavens.
Equal length zodiacal signs: Our approach acknowledges the lineage of Zarathustra and therefore assigns equal lengths to the zodiacal signs. We also recognize the Earth's pivotal role and significance in the birth chart, ensuring a balanced interpretation.
Anthroposophy and astrosophy: In alignment with the principles of Anthroposophy, our practice is known as astrosophy. We integrate Anthroposophical guidance to comprehend the spiritual entities that reside within the zodiacal and planetary realms.
Spiritual themes and practical application: Building upon the research of Robert Powell and the insights of cosmic Christianity, as understood through Anthroposophy, we actively identify and explore the spiritual themes that permeate our lives. Our teachings provide practical methods for incorporating these themes into daily existence.
Additionally, we offer various other distinctive features that we are eager to share and teach. These elements will contribute to a comprehensive understanding and profound engagement with astrology.

What participants are saying...
"The course is helping me, as I am growing my knowledge of myself and Anthroposophy in such a special way. It ties together key concepts from Rudolf Steiner and real world potential from the starry skies. It has also caused me to pause and listen more. Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and time to help initiate us greenhorns into the amazing world of Astrosophy!" ~ RH
"My goodness ... hard to pin down to one aspect... but a wise deepening of who I am, where I have come from and where I am going... life long questions I have been working on and thanks to this course I feel I have come along in leaps and bounds." ~ MS
"I loved the way the course was structured to allow for personal self-driven engagement with the material following the sessions. I wanted to extend the learning beyond the session itself." ~ AM
"The course is succinct, well thought out, and progressively builds on previous info. The presenters are knowledgeable, easy to understand, interact beautifully, and sprinkle in some fun too! It is great that recordings of the sessions are available for review. The resource list was also much appreciated." ~ AM
"I have had charts done before and they all seemed foreign to me, did not feel like me. With your version, ... the chart felt like me, something that I can work with my feelings as well as my intellect." ~ CS
"I really love your integrated approach to explaining concepts. I like being able to slow down and review the wealth of info in the recorded presentations so it can sink in. All of you have great passion for your work and it shows." ~ AN
"Even if I've worked with the zodiac and planets through doing eurythmy training, this has greatly enhanced my relationship and perception of these realities. As well, a new understanding of my life is dawning, granting me new impulses. I particularly appreciated living in the movement of going from the understanding of the physical body (through the zodiac) to the etheric body (planets), to the astral body (planets relationships), ending with the ego body (houses). This coupled with Venus-type and Sun-type aspects in addition to the well-known Mars-type and Mercury-type ones, are really a foundation to understanding astrology very differently. I truly appreciated your course and hope to be part of the next one." ~ CG
