The Feminine doesn’t refer to gender. It speaks to the essence of Matter—from Mater, meaning Mother—the ground of all physical existence. These principles of care, connection, and creation live in everyone and everything.
At The StarHouse, we honor Sacred Union: the balancing of Masculine and Feminine, Heaven and Earth, Mind and Heart, Star Wisdom and Earth Wisdom. We believe the imbalance in today’s world—rooted in domination, extraction, and disconnection—calls for a powerful return to the Sacred Feminine.

Mary Magdelene
A fully produced, dramatic reading of the staged play written by David and Lila Tresemer in 2004.

We revived the play after David’s passing in 2024, and felt it deserved a new life!
Read by a talented cast of characters, with music especially composed by Jesse Mano and Beth Quist.
The production was based on research and sacred journeys that Lila and David took to Israel and the South of France in the late 1990’s. The play was produced and performed at the Nomad Theater in North Boulder for a month in the early 2000’s. It was ahead of its time, addressing the lost path of the Western Feminine that Magdalene embodied. What if she truly had been recognized as a priestess and initiated into the mysteries?

This novel largely takes place around The StarHouse in Boulder, while weaving into a larger narrative across four decades.
Clara Marie Cameron experiences a mystical connection with her father as he dies from Agent Orange exposure. The story follows her journey as an artist and lucid dreamer, exploring themes of healing, environmental activism, and spiritual awakening.
The synopsis positions the novel in the tradition of Starhawk's "The Fifth Sacred Thing," with an emphasis on environmental spirituality and the healing power of connection to nature, represented as Gaia-Sophia.
